How we fund
an independent desk
Vote-Scope is free, carries no paywall, and publishes its methodology in the open. To keep it that way, some pages contain affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works.
- 01
What an affiliate link is
When you click a link marked as a partner or affiliate link and make a purchase, Vote-Scope may earn a commission. The price you pay never changes. Every affiliate link on this site carries the
rel="sponsored"attribute and sits next to a disclosure notice — you will never encounter a hidden one. - 02
Who our partners are
We currently have affiliate relationships with Proton (encrypted email, VPN and storage) and NordVPN. We picked partners whose products we actually use and whose privacy posture matches the values of an independent data project. We may mention other products and services editorially — comparisons, alternatives, context — without any commercial relationship; those mentions carry no tracking links.
- 03
Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate, Vote-Scope earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon links appear on our Library page — books and tournament items we genuinely recommend. Our Amazon accounts are linked internationally (Canada, US, France, UK, Italy), so the same link routes you to your local Amazon store. Prices shown on Amazon are always current — we never display or cache them here.

What affiliates never touch
Projections, index scores, poll aggregation and editorial calls are produced by the statistical pipeline documented on the methodology page. No partner sees, reviews or influences any output before publication. If a partnership ever conflicted with editorial independence, the partnership would go, not the independence.
