    Specializing in tourism and hospitality, Julia Brillant-Ruest works as a coordinator at Tourisme Rimouski, where she puts her experience at the service of promoting and developing her hometown. In this role, she works closely with local stakeholders to support projects that structure the region. Her studies reflect a strong interest in management, tourism and issues related to how territories evolve. She holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management from ESG UQAM and ITHQ, a certificate in administration from UQAR and a certificate in sustainable development from Université Laval. Her career has enabled her to build an extensive network of contacts and a strong ability to mobilize stakeholders around shared projects. Recognized for her leadership, rigour and professionalism, she also puts her expertise at the service of the community by serving on the City of Rimouski’s 2025–2027 Cultural Development Advisory Committee.

    Cédric Gauthier has made Rimouski his home for more than twenty years and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and an MBA. With a career in telecommunications, he has extensive experience in networking, automation, major-project management and team leadership. A father and longtime volunteer, he wants to put his experience at the service of his community. Cédric wishes to represent Rimouski residents with proximity, efficiency and pragmatism. He advocates concrete solutions to restore families’ purchasing power, facilitate access to homeownership, support regional businesses and improve access to health care and public services. He believes responsible state management and greater autonomy for the regions are essential to Quebec’s prosperity.
